Even though it's unlikley, do you want Iowa to win the West this season?

Today I learned that it doesn't matter if Iowa wins the West because it's a joke. I guess I am curious as to why they even field a team then or anyone cares. I know where I stand. I guess I watched Iowa play PSU down to the last play for 60 minutes 2 weeks ago and think anything could happen, just get there. I also witnessed them do the same to MSU 2 seasons ago. But I've been told that even if they win it, it's meaningless.

The west would only be a joke if Iowa wins. If whisky wins it with their easy Iowa schedule (sarcasm) then its a good conference!

If Iowa wins it, it will mean they likely beat Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northwestern and Nebraska... throw in ISU and that kind of season will never be a bad one IMO

Absolutely, but I was told on a site here today that it doesn't matter and that we'd be better off finishing 2nd in the East then first in the West. Cause that makes sense.

So far the West looks like 1 good, a bunch of average, and a bad team. Overall, very average.

Hell, winning the division means you can say "Division Champ". But, w/ KF's postseason record? It also means 1 more L.
