Evans vs Perry

I was looking at the potential match ups for the dual with the Cowboys Sunday and the Evans/Perry match intrigued me.

What do you all know about Chris Perry? If I'm not mistaken he is Mark's brother. Does he wrestle like Mark did?

How does Evans' skill set match up with Perry? What does Evans have to do to win?

He's a heck of wrestler, but not in that elite calibur like a Ruth, McD etc. I really think that he'll have a tough time keeping up with Evan's pace in the third period. But as is the case with most OSU matches, it will be determined by how fast a referee is willing to start hitting him with stall calls because if Perry has a lead in the third he'll be planted on the edge of the mat a backing out for two minutes.

This will be a good one. Perry is good in all positions as well as on top. His biggest weakness is he wrestle for OSU and has the potential to wear down in the third. If Mike can give it a full 7 minutes I think he has a good shot to win.

Also, Perry and Evans are the only undefeated wrestlers at 174. Perry is #1 at 17-0 and Stash is #4 at 9-0.

Evans is dangerous right now with his huge momentum. I think he takes Perry 5-3.
