9th in the final AP poll and 15th in preseason coaches poll but can't crack McMurphy's top 25. LOL. Then again, his job is covering and promoting the SEC, and he's one of those guys that bases rankings exclusively off quickness at skill positions.

Menthe and Hassel must have zero influence over there. Seriously, I think people at ESPN got burned in the past when Iowa had high expectations and didn't live up to them. Now they are overly cautious the other way. Last year they simply couldn't get past the schedule.
