There's already been some confusion about this, but is it possible with the new rules for the Big Ten to have a team in the BCS Championship and also in the Rose Bowl?
Outside the top 8... OR, playing for the NC as one of them had Boise. I'm wondering how far Boise drops if they lose to a pretty good VT team.
what if Oregon and Ohio State are in the NC?
it is then possible that Iowa could play BSU in the Rose
Yes, its possible as long as Boise and TCU are outside of the final Top 8...so given their predictions, I am guessing the must believe those teams will lose twice....not sure I buy that.
IMO, if you want to go to the Rose Bowl from the Big Ten, win the Big Ten, or root for OSU and Boise State to go undefeated, and you cannot lose more than two games.
TCU or Boise St will not be in the top 8 even if they only lose 1 game.
Notre Dame in a BCS game.....BWHAHAHAHA

It's ridiculous that BSU or TCU could be in the top 8 with 1 loss. They only play 2-teams from a BCS conference. It's like going .500 against real competition gets you to a BCS bowl game. If Iowa wins 1/2 of its games against BCS conference schools and wins all of non-BCS conference school games, they'd be 7-5. BSU and TCU would fit in better in the FCS championship than the FBS championship.
