I'd go with Hyde, Prater or Daniels first. No disrespect to Mr. Morris, but our LB crew just didn't perform well enough for the defensive MVP to come from that group.

With the DLine playing the way it did, it is hard to put anyone in that spot, because everything is predicated on the line play. Hyde and Prater were part of a dismal pass defense and Daniels was hurt most of the year. Maybe Bernstine deserved a look?

Probably put Morris there just because of sheer tackling numbers.

My vote woulda been for Bernstein. Maybe Binns if he would have played all yr like he did the last 3 games. But no Morris didn't stand out to me at all really. He even mighta went backwords this yr from last.

Again, the difference being the DLine. You really have to understand Iowa's schemes to get that. The DLine this year was one of the worst I have seen in a BCS conference. Really hard to be a successful backer behind that.

Bernstine & Binns & Guthrie are the three serious candidates, plus a healthy Diesel.

Binns by far. I didn't even know Morris was on the field 90% of the time.
