ESPN Tebow Postgame Interview By Rinaldi...

Kinda creepy at the start of it...Rinaldi sounds and looks like he wants to kiss the guy...soft voice, head kinda tilted to the right as he gets lost in Tim's dreaminess...

Yikes...

Oh they cried alright...they just didn't report that it happened! I don't mind Tebow, so I hope noone thinks this thread is b!tching about him...it's all about the media's lovefest.

If one of the talking heads were giving Stanzi, or any Hawkeye, that sort of attention, you would be eating it up. Thereby, you would be hypocrites.

Personally, I actually have no qualms with the attention Tim Tebow gets.

Very few kids possess his PUBLICLY known character and drive. I find him a role model.

He has never thrown a teammate under the bus. He has never been seen getting drunk at a party, or beating up a fellow student, or in any sexual scandal.

He is also one of the most statistically decorated players in the HISTORY of College Football.

Perhaps the guy deserves something a little more than all of the carnage the lot of you seem to throw his way:

Respect.

Did you read any of the posts or just jump the thread and post some copied and pasted standardized pro Tebow response? There's not one post taking a shot at the kid in this thread...

No, it just begins with the typical undertone of "oh boy. I am sick of Tebow being loved by the media."

Or were you just trying to bring up Rinaldi's man love differently than the usual man-love from Urban meyer posts people type?

Just curious

I have no problem with Tebow OR his coach and their "man-love"...why wouldn't a coach and player be close? And I think you got your panties in a bunch and read waaay too much into this, without seeing the interview in question...go calm down...seriously, holy crap...did you see the interview I'm referring to? Or even the post where I clearly stated that I have no problem with Tim? hmm? I didn't think so...You just wanted to go off on all the "haters" out there...damn them...

Not to be a downer here, but, wait until Tebow flubs in the NFL then a media network picks him up & we have to see his mug & hear his voice every weekend analyzing football. You know it's going to happen!

Tim Tebow always sounds mental retarded to me when he talks. I mean that in the most literal sense, he sounds like he has a minor mental disability. It's like all he knows how to do is play football. Now that I think about it, that's obviously working pretty well for him.

Maybe I am in the minority here but I do not mind the Tebow hype. From all accounts Tebow is a good guy and he has been great for college football. I can find much worse to worry about...I was glad to see him go out with such a good game frankly.

I am probably going to be lambasted for this, but I am going to say it:

I would take Tim Tebow over Ricky Stanzi all day and twice on Sunday.

No offense to Ricky, I happen to be happy with him. But you would have to be crazy to think he is a better QB than Tebow.

OK, back to reality.

Go #12 on Tuesday!

ANybody who criticizes you for that is an idiot. Stanzi is a good QB, but Tebow is inarguably one of the top 5 QBs in college history, arguably the best.

If Stanzi were as good as Tebow, the entire Orange Bowl would be nothing more than Dick Stockton fawning over Stanzi's pink wristband.
