Probably not.

Iowa should be a lock....unless Kentucy offers.

I guess I shouldn't have asked that question with a :D...

cause I honestly don't know. Does Connor want to play for dad? Has it been discussed? Cause the crazies on this site who are all tangled up in stars might lose their **** at the 2017 class.

Gary Trent's kid is on the list as well...

Both Fran and his wife have connections throughout the basketball world. If they would think it would be best for his son to get the college experience away from home, he might want him to go somewhere else. Both of them have experienced playing at the college level so they probably have insights that other people wouldn't even know about. He probably will be a highly rated player when he is ready to graduate high school, and hopefully, Fran is still at Iowa and is in on a lot of highly rated guys by then.

He'll probably hate the coach, just like all of the current players.

It worked for the McDermotts and the Lickliters.

Good to see that Conner is playing well enough in AAU to earn this rating. He is our kind of recruit....good student, local kid....Matt Gatens deja vu.

Fran will be fired by then for only making the play-in game or NIT for 5 straight seasons ;-)

Wow, five star top 25. Would that be our highest rated recruit ever?

I was thinking the same thing... He has to stay home right? He'll be another recruit Fran won't get credit for regardless.

And for not being able to recruit worth a sh*t.

We have had a few over the years, Al Lorenzen, the Vanilla Gorilla was one. I watched him in the McDonalds game, and he played center. Nobody would go anywhere near him. He put people on the floor if they got in his way.....

Chris Kingsbury might be another one and there are one or two others.....

There is no doubt that he is going to play for the Hawks.....

Kingsbury was a Mcdonalds all american if I remember right. He was a bulky 6'5 at 19 that once he was on the other side of half court he had (or thought he did) the green light. He was fun to watch. Those teams were fun to watch.

If that class had held together I believe they could have had a deep tourney run their senior year. Instead CK's ego got the best of him and Settles' back all but put an end to his career. Only Woolridge was left for his senior campaign and he put together one of the all-time seasons for an Iowa player.
