I completely disagree with the non-con issues people are talking about on this board. Iowa is going to be starting a freshman at point and a freshman back-up point. They are going to their true rotational pressure D. They are going to start a freshman center. They lost their clutch scorer. They are going to be doing some radical experimentation with different line-ups.
It is best they do this in practice mode against teams that won't destroy them when they make mistakes, because they will make several during this learning process. Basically, get this stuff out of the way against easier competition, while you are still building confidence, weather the storm against the brutal start of the B1G schedule and then go on a good late run, including win some conference tourney games and all will be good.
