More than a scroll, they just did a live spot on it.
Tom Osborne sounded tired, said he just wanted the whole thing resolved.
They also had a written quote from Stoops to the affect -we won championships and competed in the Big 12. The idea of being involved with the Pac 10 sounds pretty cool- But no statement of love or loyalty for the Big 12. Interesting.
ESPN's take, for what it's worth, was the big 6 to the Pac 10, Neb and Mizzou to the Big Ten with Baylor, KSt, Kansas and the Clowns on the outs.

And somehow lost in all of this is the long-term future of a storied Kansas basketball program. Surely a move to a mid-major conference will take its toll.

From the way the article reads, I don't consider this confirmed. "he expects Nebraska to leave the Big 12" does not sign the paperwork. I think lots of people expect Nebraska to leave at this point barring any major changes.

I just went in and watched the scroll. It said that a Big 12 executive has told the Omaha World Herald that Nebbie to the B10 could happen by Friday. So they are citing the previously linked OWH story...didnt appear that ESPN had any independent corroboration, or they would have made that clear.

I really don't think this is an issue. Unlike football I think it's been proven that you can be a long standing power without being in a top notch conference. UNLV had a long run, Memphis has been consistently good, Cinci was a top team while the Huggster was on the bench.
KU basketball will be just fine.
