ESPN is off the bandwagon

Espn also pimps their BPI that will have IOWA in the top 15.

But Iowa will have Basabe back and will be due for their luck to change...

Greenberg is an idiot...Iowa has shortened PT for the bench and anyone who predicts Iowa as a Final Four contender is an idiot.

Seth probably didn't know Iowa players without Basabe either. Just plain stupidity to predict anything beyond justgetting to the NCAA when the program has came where it has. I can predict Sweet 16, but with zero real reason...Iowa has shown me nothing to think that is a rational thought at this point. If I have offended anyone, I apologize in advance...my anger is toword guys like Greenberg and Doyle.

Iowa has shortened the bench recently, and has lost.

It's not the bench. It's the defense, and losing 50/50 balls, and not pushing the ball up the floor as hard as they used to.

My god you people over freaking react.

Iowa can and will play with ANYONE in the US, ANYONE.

They've had epic bad luck. That is it.

The probability that Darius Stokes comes offthe bench and goes 5-6 and 3-3 from 3s for 13pts in 19 MN vs MSU is about the same as Buggs, w 5 career pts, going off playing only bc the other bigs were in trouble.

Just rotten bad luck, they got yogi ferreled by Buggs tonight, it happens, but to throw the team under the bus.

You all need to wise up!

So KenPom still has them at #12.
And Vegas still has them in top 12 too.

The only thing that has changed is some of these thin skinned immature Iowa fans....

So Weezer, KenPom has just dropped IOWAs bad luck metric to 328 of 352 teams, that's in the 95th percentile, you agree with that?

Who cares what espn says.

I do have to say that espn is high on the suck o meter.

We can all be thankful the march madness is not on espn where they would be swarmy and sucking up to every coach out there.

Ah an Iowa loss I thought would be a win and a nice 22 ounce boston lager is bringing out my bad side.

Depth is a problem? One of these teams is Iowa the other is Minnesota.

Team A minutes: 32, 31, 30, 27, 11, 23, 19, 19, 8
Team B minutes: 37, 35, 30, 29, 21, 19, 12, 8, 7, 4, 1

Team A starters = 131 minutes
Team B starters = 152 minutes

Only losers hide behind bad luck. You make your own luck - good or bad.

Kinda unfair comparison because there BIG got in foul trouble early...it would of went the other way if he gets normal minutes.

Games are games and sometimes players get in foul trouble quick. Woodbury comes to mind. Basabe wasn't there either. But facts are facts.

There's a lot of sofa coaches that want Fran to play the starters more and shorten the bench's playing minutes.

Check.

Loss.

It's not the magic formula apparently.

If Iowa plays 80 games like the pros, the luck normalizes, MN is the worst shooting team in the B1G, but every once in awhile they can get hot, or they all can get hot, they all have talent to do so, on occasion, it happens, it is a statsiticcaly rare event.

Wisky has gasser and Koenig Both get hot, Buggs isn't going to Avg 13/gm AND shoot 5-6, 3-3.

It happens, it just doesn't happen often.

Kenpoms data based analysis shows epic bad luck, AND Iowa as a top 12 team, do you believe one but not the other?

I can see the non-believers and band wagon fans saying this yes...

If Iowa played bad I might agree, but they played pretty well.

MN has not shot 60%, 60% and 85% ALL YR. It happens in 1 game take all sports, if iowa plays them 10x, they win 7-8.

I'm sure we'll see the bandwagon full when they finish well and get to the B1G finals...
