I have been on record from the start of B1G play that our depth would be the demise of this group.analyst who picked us to final four is "off the bandwagon" and "depth is a curse for the hawks"
My god you people over freaking react.
Iowa can and will play with ANYONE in the US, ANYONE.
They've had epic bad luck. That is it.
The probability that Darius Stokes comes offthe bench and goes 5-6 and 3-3 from 3s for 13pts in 19 MN vs MSU is about the same as Buggs, w 5 career pts, going off playing only bc the other bigs were in trouble.
Just rotten bad luck, they got yogi ferreled by Buggs tonight, it happens, but to throw the team under the bus.
You all need to wise up!
Kinda unfair comparison because there BIG got in foul trouble early...it would of went the other way if he gets normal minutes.Depth is a problem? One of these teams is Iowa the other is Minnesota.
Team A minutes: 32, 31, 30, 27, 11, 23, 19, 19, 8
Team B minutes: 37, 35, 30, 29, 21, 19, 12, 8, 7, 4, 1
Team A starters = 131 minutes
Team B starters = 152 minutes
Games are games and sometimes players get in foul trouble quick. Woodbury comes to mind. Basabe wasn't there either. But facts are facts.Kinda unfair comparison because there BIG got in foul trouble early...it would of went the other way if he gets normal minutes.
So Weezer, KenPom has just dropped IOWAs bad luck metric to 328 of 352 teams, that's in the 95th percentile, you agree with that?
