ESPN whiffed on the story timing. They could've be featured it last week in Iowa City in the morning last week. They had an instant classic game to boot. Still nice to see they did it though.

Yeah, great piece. The more attention those kids get, the better. Hopefully generates lots of donations to the hospital.

As far as the wave they did on-set, though, seems like that could have been directed to the other kids in similar situations around the country. Lot of them out there might be wondering where their love / attention is.

Too often I think people forget what a big country we live in- for every story on tv there are bound to be lots of other, similar situations nobody noticed or chose to put on tv.
