ESPN-Fair or Unfair?

Who cares... It's ESPN. I never turn it to that dog*&^# quality channel unless there's a game on that I actually want to watch. They haven't been relevant since they hired Lou "Chewing on glass" Holtz as an expert in being a moron.

I like how we have about 30 different thread laughing at Clownies for being jelly, and then we start a thread whining about the fairness of a more successful program getting more attention.

IT'S THE SAME THING MORANZ!

The Ohio State promotion is over the top. Urban Meyer plays by his rules and as a former ESPN commentator gets the royal treatment. Look for Delaney to have a come to Jesus moment with this scoundrel and Gene Smith. When you have embarrassed the conference and act unrepentant Delaney will act.

If I was ESPN/ABC I'd tone down my over promotions. They aren't the only game in town the next time the Big Ten rights to prime games is opened for bidding. Fox, NBC Sports (versus) and CBS could get the rights.

No, Delaney will let it slide. Perception is still that O$U is "too important" to the conference.

What the He11 are you doin' still watching ESPizzin!?

Exactly. I avoid the station, website, and any other affiliation like the plague. Just a bunch of talking head dbags and former athletes who like to yell. I can probably count on one hand the number of personalities on that network I can stand to listen to.

ESPN stopped reporting news and started generating it years ago. It's nothing new for them to dictate to the masses what they should think is important instead of reporting news and letting the masses decide. The more people they can funnel where they want them the less work they have to do.

It breaks down like this...

MLB: Yankees-Sox, Dodgers and Angels

NBA: Miami, Boston, New York and L.A. (Chicago will be added when healthy)

NFL: New England, New York, Tebow and Manning

Soccer: ESPN will cram anything down our throats because they want to be global so we have to start loving soccer

NHL: They don't really care anymore, lost cause to them

College Basketball: Carolina-Duke, Big East and Kentucky

College Football: SEC and USC...everyone else is secondary

Women's CBB: UConn

There's a pattern there and if you're going to watch ESPN you have to put up with it or you'll be beating your head against the wall for nothing if you want it to change.
