Eno Commits to Iowa Stories

Is he the best running back to ever commit to KF?

Jermelle Lewis was a 4 star RB. Top 100 player (73) and 7th ranked RB scout. Top ranked RB on east coast by rivals and 6th ranked rb per rivals. class of 2000.

eno benjamin is ranked 14th at his position per rivals.

Lewis was a HUGE fish in early KF days - and still is.

In addition ......Greg Garmon was a 4 star and touted as 12 best RB in the country by Scout, 19th by Rivals.

https://n.rivals.com/news/four-star-rb-eno-benjamin-commits-to-iowaRivals article:

"Benjamin said that he is still considering taking official visits, but a potential change in commitment figures to be all the more unlikely with his intentions to graduate in December and enroll early.

I think I may still get out and take official visits just to get out there and see what there is,” he said. “But I am going to say that there is nothing that any other school can do to outrun Iowa at this point.”"

The commitment of Benjamin on offense and fellow four-star commit A.J. Epenesa on defense.......

Wow, he went down to a 4 star ? I know, I know.....Rivals sucks:eek:. Great pick Eno, black & gold are your favorite colors & will be for a lot of years..Welcome aboard

Rob - how long have you known who he was committing to?? i'm guessing you had these stories ready to go.....

I actually did not know until he went public but I had a pretty good feeling he was ours based on conversations I had with him, including a short one yesterday afternoon. I would have been torqued had I written the stories and he committed elsewhere after writing two pieces.

Iowa has had some really good backs through the years. Ladell Betts is the best I've covered since I started in '97.

I think Garmon was a 4 star RB commit. Not sure where he ranked nationally, but as a 4 star, I'd guess he was a top 20 RB nationally.
