End the scoring droughts with simple math and simple shots

During the drought yesterday the hawks seemed to be shooting under a lot of pressure trying to drive into the lane, work the ball inside, etc.

I saw multiple times during this 7 minute span where the ball would go inside and we had guys standing wide open at the 21-22 foot distance. I think we can make 1 of 3, 2 of 6, or 3 of 8 of these shots without being under pressure.

Also, watching the replay of this stretch of game Illinois' zone gave us a huge opening at the free throw line but the hawks never attacked that area for what would be and should be a pretty easy jumper. Fran and other coaches need to coach up these guys to find their best shots in good situations. The players need to see this open spot especially the guards should be directing other players.

I think we dont shoot well because we take tough shots. And we take much tougher shots sometimes than they have to.

Any other ideas about busting and eliminating these droughts?
