End of Wisconsin game

Ummm, that's pretty lame. Sound like the kind of rule Bud Selig would think is a good idea.

And we're not the champs. That's the kind of crap a Clown fan would brag on.

You gotta better idea? What, should they add up all the scores and then see which league is champ?

Irregardless of your feelings for Brust or his coach, do you think he was fouled on that last play?

It didn't look to me like he was. As much as anything, he stepped into the defender, who already had left his feet.

Iowa lost. Why do I care if the other stupid BIG teams one?

Before that game, Wisconsin was scoring more PPG than Iowa.

Kind of a disappointing ACC-BoneG challenge tho.

That "terrible offense" was averaging 75ppg to Iowa's 70ppg prior to the game.

God awful sequence at the end of the game, simply awful. Wisconsin fans are furious that Sam Dekker isn't getting more run than he is but they can **** and moan all they want, Bo makes his players apprentice for a bit first and that isn't going to change.

We lost our starting point guard the week before the season and are playing 2 guys at PG that have never played before and they are taking some early lumps. We've also played a very hard schedule with more tough teams to come. Bo Ryan will figure it out.

Keep in mind that last season Wisconsin had also lost 3 games in the non-conference (with a weaker schedule) and were 1-3 to start the Big Ten. How did that story turn out? The offense last year looked a LOT worse at this point of the season than the one this year does. Bo's 1st season they dropped 5 non-conference games and then turned around and won the title. Bo has a consistent track record of improving his teams.

A LOT of season left. You think Michigan state is going to lay down and die because they took a couple hits? No, good coaches make their team better.

Virginia is not a good team and you don't have Jordan Taylor this year. Don't count on your season turning out like last year, having bad guards is not a recipe for success.

Last year you had Jordan Taylor sucking it up in the non-con and knew he'd right the ship at some point. Not the case this year.

We don't have Jordan Taylor? Oh no!! We didn't have Leuer last year, we didn't have Trevon Hughes the year before, we didn't have Joe Krabbenhoft the year before, we didn't have Brian Butch the year before, we didn't have, Alando Tucker, then Mike Wilkinson, then Devin Harris, then Kirk Penney......blah blah blah blah blah.

Someone always steps up that you hadn't heard much about the year prior. It's been going on 11 years now. Alert me in Mid-March when the selection show is on and we aren't one of the teams listed. Until then, there's not much anyone can say.

We do have good guards, they are just young and inexperienced. It'll shape up as they go through games like this. Has a Bo Ryan team ever finished worse than they started? The answer is no.

We're in the beginning stages of the slow death of Wisconsin basketball. This is going to be fun.

There will be a time soon when the vulture's carcass will be what's for dinner.

----said by Iowa fans since: 01', 02', 03', 04', 05', 06', 07', 08', 09', 10', 11'

and soon to be 2012

First Steve Alford was a brilliant young coach ready to mold Iowa into the next Indiana Hoosier's, then Bruce Weber was ready to lead Illinois into their 1980's brilliance, the Tommy Amaker at Michigan was going to turn the Wolverines into the next Duke, then Tubby Smith was going to end Wisconsin's dominance over them, then Todd Lickliter was going to turn Iowa into "Butler on Steroids", then ........ fill in the blanks.

All but one of those coaches are now fired and coaching elsewhere and if Tubby Smith misses the tournament this year he is gone too.

Nothing stings more than making fun of the students I don't care about not showing up to games.

You overlooked a couple numbers:

67-66

What's activebader's obsession with Carver giving out free pizza? When the women in Wisconsin ask for an extra side bowl of cheese with their nachos, I doubt they charge extra for it. If it's free, give me three!
