Good article by Howe. Seems like Mabin is really stepping up. If he locks it down, as he has good size 6'2 195lbs and speed and would give us physical corners who tackle on boths sides, as King is a very physical corner.

I hope he steps up. I remeber Draper getting burnt multiple times last year and King should shut 1 side down. I still can't believe the year King had as a freshman.

I think Draper will find himself falling down the depth chart alittle. Between Mabin Flemming and new kids I just think he'll struggle. He just got burned too much in games and hasn't seemed to improve alot in practice.

Parker did mention him specifically in the BTN's coverage the other night. It's crazy to think that dude came in as a WR (and just switched last year). Although slightly lean (195lbs), if the kids got the athletic ability to switch positions like that, I say give it a shot!

Having two lock down corners would be huge. Let's hope it happens. Would take some pressure off the safeties and might also allow the D-Line to get a few more sacks if nobody is open down field.

I hope he does well. It would be nice to see Iowa have an oversized CB opposite King. Also good to hear Flemming and Draper are actually hanging in there too. Hopefully a 3rd CB will emerge.

Deion Sanders was about that same size (6'1", 198)... now if Mabin can run a 4.2 like Deion, we may have something here!
