There is no "new Kirk".

There were coaches and players who were on a mission after being embarrassed last year. They worked their butts off.

There was a weak schedule combined with a few breaks.

And there was a more capable quarterback than we've seen in quite awhile.

Make no mistake, this team executed and gutted out every one of those 12 wins, and they earned them.

But there is no dramatic difference in Kirk's program from last year.
