Ellingson crow actually tastes good

Mr Brady is the surprise of the season for me. I saw Pemsel play in the PTL so I kinda saw his game coming. We all knew what Cook was bringing. Jbo is a better ball handler and passer then I gave him credit for but I knew the shooting and confidence was there. But man of man I literally expected nothing from Ellingson. The leap he has taken from last year to this one is astounding. We really should start talking about how good of a shooting guard developer Fran is. P.S I consider Uthoff a shooting guard in a skinny SF's body.

I have said that I thought he would be good as a PG. Good ball handler, good decision maker, great FT shooter and a good facilitator.

Possibly, although he doesn't look all that comfortable bringing the ball down the court. But maybe that's because it isn't his normal job.

I have been a cheerleader for Brady from day one, if for no other reason than he is from Wisconsin and that is where I reside. I would love it if he turns out to be a major and consistent contributor just to rub it in with some of my Badger friends. That is my bias. Now, I think he plays very solid defense, has good court sense, is an accomplished passer, is not afraid to go to the basket on back cuts, and just does not make very many mistakes. Fran has repeatedly said that he keeps trying to get Brady to search for shots, and Brady is just too methodical and conservative in his approach to the game to take that advice. Against OSU, I saw him do exactly what Fran has been preaching to him ever since he arrived at Iowa. Hope he can keep it up. (remember: I told you up front that I am biased...)

Stay hot kid and stay aggressive. Props to Brady.

Boy would it be fun to see this Brady on the floor at the same time as a healthy Jok and JBo. Talk about some fire power from 3.

It would be great to have them all on the floor at the end of close games. JBo has the lowest FT % of the 3 at .893. Jok is at .915 and Brady is at 1.000.
