I don't doubt your opinion, but, Iowa knew how big he was when they started recruiting him. How do they later back away because he is too small? Was he wearing lifts when they first met him?

They never offered him. When McCaffery saw him in person, they elected to look elsewhere.

This isn't really uncommon, schools look at a lot of kids that they don't end up offering.

Again, rivals asks the kid if he has an offer, the kid says yes, and they report it.

A few weeks ago, Tom Kakert checked with his sources, and Stokes was never offered.
