I really don’t mean to be a pessimist but that win just doesn’t feel as good as I wanted it to. Really wish that they had not gotten that last touchdown and we could’ve run up the score a bit more not to mention our offense is meh

That’s a good point, next couple of games could help get Petras and the offense in gear.

But I do reserve the right to keep complaining if the offense stinks against Kent State and Colorado State.

I agree the offense was not good BUT we had 3 drives that were pretty good and that may all we need this year. Our defense and STs are that good.

Iowa is great when the other teams offense has to go 80-90+ yards EVERY drive.

Ferentzball to start, the boys had a couple solid drives, got points, and then the Defense and ST sent us back into Ferentzball, and that's okay so long as we get the W.

I'm afraid that we are too. We have played and beaten 2 ranked opponents to open the season in dominant fashion. This should be a wet dream, but my Spidy senses are going crazy.

Anything ever mentioned before, during, or after the game about Goodson? He didn't look 100% to me. Didn't seem to be running as hard or quick as usual. I noticed it more so when IKM would come in at times.

Marching band was watching the game in Iowa City at different parties. My son said they were all chanting Rose Bowl after the game.
