The headlines are not misleading. Don't click on expansion topics, and you might not be let down. Isnt that what the Gin Blossoms said?
 
I hope we get some answers soon about how this will shake out. Interesting to say the least. I thought there was no way the Big 12 would dissolve but these latest rumors have me wondering (and excited :) )

Caarhawk's uncanny prediction about 3 months ago that this would happen. And his steadfast determination to hold to this belief, even while people like Jon were making silly arguments about the Pac Ten being in a bad position to win in expansion because their games were on too late.

Yeah, I know, probably not.

Not all 8 would go to the Pac Ten

Big Ten might get one or two, same for the SEC

The Pac 10, without Texas, would have little chance at being a player in the TV dollar craze game.

Until today, I never read anything involving the Pac 10 and such a move
