Dallas just gave KC the rights to the Big12 title game...getting in the last "No, YOU take it!" of the conference...

that's all, two sentences just to stir up the kooks hell bent on watching the big XII collapse? there's been nothing but speculation for months now, and this is nothing more than that. thanks for the insight jon

it's not that likely due to their academics. they're definitely not on par with that of the big 10. plus, there is more money to be made in research grants through a respected tier 1 institution than there is through athletics through either of those schools. NU's begging would indicate that they are fully aware of this

not really. the same speculation and second hand he said she said this might be what goes down newest version of the story posts every other day get a little old. gotta love the summer when there isn't anything worth talking about NCAA wise!

Is there some secret portal or twitter I should be following to keep up on all of this? I checked out espn and fox sports and can't find anything on college football expansion speculation, all I see is actual reporting on sports like nba playoffs and baseball.

A friend of mine named specklebelly steve who lives within driving distance of Kansas City told me that something has been worked out between the pac 10 and big XII AD's. He said that is why the press conference had to be canceled. His understanding is that now the chancellors of each university have to vote on it tomorrow and make things official before Beebe can say anything in a press conference . apparently they've reached a deal regarding a bigXII/Pac10 tv network?

see, sounds just as good, but with just as little of substance as the OP. and who knows, maybe this is the case?
