I just found that out this morning. That's one tuff Hawkeye! Hats off to Mr. Nick! He played a big part in the win.
 
And yet a bunch of posters on this board are almost 100% negative in almost everything they say on this board. The young men on this team make incredible sacrifices every day for our enjoyment. If you can't lay off the coaches, at least celebrate the players and their accomplishments.

I had no idea he had 2 broken ribs and a collapsed lung vs. nebby. Played almost every offensive snap in the bowl on a frozen field...had a big time catch.

We were pretty darn lucky to have had him come. From the first game he played this year he's made plays for us. Only mistake in regards to him was not recruiting him originally out of HS. I'd hate to see where we'd have been without him. Plus he's just a great kid. I've read stories of him going to the childrens hospital a lot. He's absolutely a role model for the type of player we should want at Iowa and representing the program.

Nick had a look at Kinnick while in the hospital. The hospital was full so they put him in the children's hospital. for a couple of days. What a story it is.
