Early I know...but Woody is leading team with 70% from the field

That comes out to 7 ppg. Also 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks a steal and only 1.5 PFs.

All of this in 17 mins.

I love what I see out of him...I know he'll have his down games but the kid has heart and is a big body to contend with....his hook shot will only get better as he learns to use his body to post up stronger.

I thought his first season would be 6-8pts/6-8boards a game. Depending on playing time and our 3pt%, he could avg more.

Those stats would be a great first season for him. Many posters here, including Jon, don't think he's going to get that much. If he keeps playing like he is, I think he will.

I agree with OP. His energy and enthusiasm on the floor is electric. After every basket he's right there to celebrate with whomever made it. Woody and McCabe both bring that to the floor.

Haha...that was evident in the Ally-oop highlight video (vs Howard) when Woody and McCabe were body checking White while White wanted no part of being intentionally fouled by teammates! :D

I'd like to see the offense move through him a little bit more. Not necessarily more shots, but more touches.

I partially agree with you, he needs more shots when he has the smaller defenders when he is in front of them. He slowed down against GW and had a lot of success.

The real surprise is his 1.5 blocks per game, which is 2nd on the team (only 1 behind Basabe). Duff has a standing bet that Woody ends up averaging .5 blocks per game by the end of the season.

Even if Woody averaged 10 blocks a game for the entire season, Duff would claim that in some way he was 100% right.
