Duck Taunts?

A bunch of them did that, which got them a bunch of water bottles and other debris thrown back at that them. Some of those players were joined by others walking up the home sideline taunting fans until some Oregon staff members came to retrieve the children. Also, the heated seats on the Oregon sideline had thin plastic(?) tops on them which accumulated water and some of the Oregon players were smacking the underside of the top causing water to spray onto the Hawkeye fans in the first few rows.

All in all, very classless behavior. By comparison, the Duck fans we encountered were all pretty polite.

Second time ever. 3 Oregon Fans behind me in next row. Drunk. Kept “accidentally” hitting me in the head. I never do this, but…I turned around and said “loudly”, if you hit me in the head again, I will call security. They will take care of you. Their response was “won’t happen again. “ It didn’t.

I was sitting in Section 109 and Row 11. And there were a handful of Oregon fans that were pretty obnoxious. Most Duck fans were pretty quiet most of the game. Wasn't until after the game when they seemed to get a bit loud.

I did witness #4 Benson for the Ducks run all the across the field and taunt the South end zone and SW sections. I don't ever advocate violence or even chucking water bottles or debris, but you reap a bit of what you sew.

In that moment, there's a lot of emotion by players and fans alike. It can be really easy to be caught up the moment. I would have hoped that Coach Lanning would have kept a leash on his players better, but just judging how he coaches, he probably would excuse that behavior and say how he loves their fire and so on.
