Regardless of whether they are a true "duel threat" QB or not, if a QB demonstrates the ability to use their feet to extend plays or to simply get out of the pocket it affects what the defense can run and can help his WR's find extra time to get into open space. I don't think we'll ever depend, or need to depend, on a QB to consistently run the ball or be the bulk of our rushing attack, but we definitely could benefit from someone who is comfortable as a ball carrier or someone that can use their feet to keep plays alive in the hopes of finding some separation down field.
