I think a majority of us common football fans do not know how often and the punishments that happen with drug testing within a football team. Most of us would be led to believe that a failed drug test would mean an automatic suspension. That is absolutely not true. Example--I know a football player from another school in Iowa (will not name the player or school). He talked about how after a school break the players would be subjected to random drug tests. Of course there were guys that failed the test. Their punishment....they got the **** run out of them. I do not pretend to know any more than that. What that does tell me is we do not know what goes on behind the walls within a football team, especially in regards to drug testing.
