I will have to peek in to see a little magic. I was going to watch him a couple of years ago then he got hurt in their opener that season.

And as if on qqe I flipped it over to Grey Cup game and Drew Tate scores a TD !!
Apparently, it was his 10th of the year. Drew Tate getting it done, as usual.

Go Hawks

What's this 2 quarter back businesses? never heard of such a thing.

What the hell is the Grey Cup? Is this some game between like the Jags and Raiders where the loser gets the number 1 pick so each team is trying to intentionally lose?

I use to make fun of the CFL. But it is pretty entertaining. Now I just make fun of my Hawks instead.

I've never watched much of it. I wonder how popular it is in Canada? When I think of Canada all I think of is hockey and strip clubs.

Apparently it's a football game where players from Iowa play for championships and occasionally score touchdowns. I feel like I'm watching an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Since its only 3 downs they have a rushing QB. The CFL is the second most popular sport in Canada behind hockey. Drews parents come to the Houston game watches now and then. His moms best friend and his aunt come every week. They said Drew hopes to be traded to a team where he can start. However he has one year on his contract. With Mitchell at QB he doesnt have much hope of starting. But he is not looking at giving it up anytime soon. Beats a regular job I guess. they dont make that much money. When Brad Banks was backup QB of the Alouettes he was making maybe 100K. It is not the NFL. the average salary is <100K,. The Qb's make more however.

It's not all that popular, each fan base has a pretty loyal following but it takes a back seat to most other sports going on.

It was played in Vancouver, looked full but wasn't a sell out, they ended up giving the remaining tickets away for free to men/women in the armed forces.
