Drake handles a good Missouri team

This was the first Drake game I have watched and I was very impressed with how well they are coached. Totally different type of offense. Drive to the basket and if its not there pass, rinse and repeat. Drive pass, drive pass, drive pass. They also play good defense.

It was a great game to watch. I grew up going to games at Vets and then the Knapp. There were a lot of of thin years oof......Never thought I'd see success my parents always talked about.

Yep, get inside position, apply pressure against the guy behind you with your lower body approximately in the hips and waste line area, and then discreetly push him backwards. Then jump forward toward the basket and grab the ball. Pressing up against him with your hips and lower back also allows you to feel his motion (left or right) before he even takes half of a step, and you then can follow him and stay in front of him thus screening him from the rim and back board. Technical term......... boxing out. Very hard to detect by the officials that you are pushing him away. In fact, I have pissed off a lot of players who get called for over the back. LMAO!!!

I don’t know. If Owen Freeman decides to stay in conference, IMO, he should go to Purdue. Matt Painter could coach him up, just as well, if not better than Fran could.

I fully acknowledge that I don’t know Purdue’s roster situation or what they would be able to pay him.
