^^Jerk^^Some of these kids really like to drag it out. I have a lot of respect for those that don't. At this point, he should know whether he wants to go to Iowa. If he doesn't, to each his own. But at least have the courtesy to let the staff know so they can stop wasting time and money going to DM, having him to IC, etc. The Oliver situation last year was utterly ridiculous.
I don't think Minnesota has any scholarships left. If it does, based on transfers and de-commits, there aren't many. '
I think JW may have overplayed his hand. He had a lot of impressive offers as recently as this summer and they do not appear to be there anymore. Remember, he was originally scheduled to commit in July before backing off. Since then, teams have filled up there classes or moved on for other reasons.
Then, that's good for Iowa. Any word on whether Iowa is recruiting Sam Ingoli to play football?I don't think Minnesota has any scholarships left. If it does, based on transfers and de-commits, there aren't many. '

With the move to an early signing period, I think for all but the very best prospects, this could start to happen more often. He kept holding out for a Notre Dame offer, which is certainly his prerogative, but when teams start filling up their classes by the first week of December, then guys like JW have to realize the musical chairs at the P5 may stop with no space left....
SI has visited here a few times. Not sure Iowa is ready to offer. They offered Stoops' son and have Lockett in on an official this weekend. I think those are the top two WRs on the board but SI is on there.
is stoops' son actually any good, or is he just a "name" recruit?
He’s good. It’s not like he’s competing against the sisters of the poor down there either, that’s good high school football. He’s physical, has excellent hands and is a good blocker. He’s the type that gets on the field as a true freshman.
Here are his junior highlights: LINK
Well neither is 84 that we have now and he's doing more than alright out there. Granted we don't need a whole fleet of 5'11 180 lb receivers but after he redshirts Easley will be gone. But having a kid or two like that wouldn't be bad at all if he can playty. he seems small and not speedy.
