Doug Plank - Remember him?

Remember Doug Plank? He was a strong safety for the Chicago Bears known for his hitting. He was out of Ohio St. I prob was only 10-12 when he played but I remember him. We need a safety like this. There are other short clips of other hard hits on YouTube.

OK. So I should have stated we should get another one. I meant in the current time. Thank you Mr. Literal.


This guy bordered on dirty though. He'd launch himself into players knees, etc.. Sanders played clean.

While this would be nice, a safety that can execute a simple form tackle would suffice these days.

For safeties I think of Bad Bob Sanders. 5.9 and nothing but pure meanness.
