Don't Underestimate The Loss of Butler

I realize that Iowa is deep at RB and the two now behind Wadley appear to be formidable and show to be just as or more productive then Butler at this point, but, losing Butler for this game is a pretty big loss, IMO.

It's not so much the production on the ground he was bringing at this point, it has more to do with any special 2 back packages Iowa might have had planned or been saving for a tough BIG game. Not sure if they would still run them with Young and/or Kelly-Martin or if would not have that added to their plate at this point. I just think losing Butler could limit the diversity of the offense for this game, unfortunately.

It also means we don't get to say ButWad for a few weeks.

Also means PSU doesn't get YoungBut this week...

Still hope the coaches find ways to use multiple back sets for this game. Helps keep the defense from pinning their ears back and coming after us.

Dude... funny not funny. I'm with ya though.

I think with a week of prep those other two backs can get up to speed on a 'gadget' play or two beyond whats normally on a RBs plate. My question is which one will they use more and how? Both look to be darn good and worth putting out there. Young was the first in last game so we'll just have to see.

Missed it the first time around. Clever. Disturbing, but clever. (And deserved).
