Between that and them being ranked at 24th it makes their fanbase feel relevant and in the hunt. So with that next loss they take the crippling blow of being unranked again and then the cycle starts all over again. As much as I enjoy the suffering and fall back to reality, I almost hope the dream gets squashed sooner then later. That fan base has been through enough.

Watching Matt Campbell squirm after getting his hopes up will be even more gratifying than beating Minnesota in their cinderella season.
