Yeah you. Blame yourself. You were one of the ones who ran off the winningest coach in Big Ten tournament History. A guy who oozed class and who currently has his ballclub playing well. You wanted this. You wanted the coach of the year. You wanted anyone but Alford. You pushed Steve and his players out the door, the cupboard was bare and now you want to run off Lickliter. The team has improved, we've got a few promising guys coming in. Give it some time, don't make the same mistake you made a few years ago. I'm not even going to remind you of what you said about Tom Davis.

I really don't know where to go with this one. Alford oozed class? Seriously the guy had a public affair with a student at the U of Iowa. He constantly was putting his players above everyone else saying they deserve special treament, and most important he couldn't coach himself out of a wet paper bag! the guy was a good recruiter and that was it, when it came down to a close game, you saw what happened every time. Iowa choked and he would throw his players under the bus!

I was really shocked when Iowa got lickliter, because I saw his butler teams play a lot that year. They were good, but they were also a senior dominated bunch that year. He had a lot of experience on his team. But I remember saying he better change his system otherwise we are gonna be in trouble.
