Donnie Tyndall compared to North Carolina

Former Tennessee coach, Donnie Tyndall, received a 10 year show cause penalty for his actions at Southern Miss. In other news, North Carolina played Villanova in the NCAA Championship game on April 4th. Two years ago they were caught comtting academic fraud for twenty years involving 3,000 students. That 20 year period would include three NCAA titles. The NCAA has done nothing to North Carolina.

But Southern Miss?

No surprise. Make examples out of the little guys, shelter the big dogs. Makes sense. The NCAA should no longer be exist.

Hey, Iowa didn't get punished for Ronnie Harmon receiving $54,000 from agents his last two years at Iowa. Heck, Harmon was investigated by the FBI for throwing the '86 Rose Bowl because of the money. Most Iowa fans above the age of forty-five strongly believe Harmon threw the game!

University of Iowa running back Ronnie Harmon apparently has the distinction of being the athlete who was paid the most money by Walters and Bloom. Over two years, Harmon received more than $54,000. Although he broke with the agents, he was allowed to keep nearly $50,000 of the money.

“Every person they talked to, every player, every coach, every graduate assistant was asked, ‘Did Tyndall know about it or direct it?’ and every single person said no except Adam Howard and in the first two interviews he said that he didn’t know anything about academic fraud and he got caught lying twice and we had to fire him at Tennessee,” Tyndall said. “He changed his story (last) March for full immunity. So he said I was involved, I get fired, they go to look back into it and there’s still nobody that would say Tyndall was involved.”

Remember the immortal words of Coach Jerry Tarkanian: "The NCAA got so mad at Kentucky they gave Cleavland State two more years probation." Nothing major will happen to North Carolina. They're too important to the NCAA money machine.

The NCAA has no credibility. I can't wait for the day when colleges drop their association with them. They are a fraud. Mark Emmert is a joke. Bias is a joke with the NCAA. They gave no accountability.
