Read an article in a Detroit newspaper lately where they thought Harris would be kept even though the competition was close. Punters/Kickers come and go so if you can get a new guy cheaper than a veteran it's probably worth the risk.

Awesome, congratulations to him!

Was a great punter and glad to see him get a chance in the NFL.

I always thought he got a bum deal the last couple of years, he had a ton of nice punts inside the 20 that could have been downed inside the 5 but our guys who were down there seemed clueless and let them bounce into the endzone. It might just be me but it seemed like Iowa's done a bad job with that lately.

Either way, glad to see him get his shot.
