Dom Uhl

What is going on with him?

He has/had so much potential.

It seems he has instead regressed.

Was hoping he would break out this season.

Thoughts?

He's had a couple good games. Hopefully he gets more consistent as the season goes on. We really need him to be good next year though.

Uhl has been thrust into the role of backup C by virtue of being the 3rd tallest player on the team. He has shown some ability to defend the post so far which is good, but really he is a small forward. This becomes obvious when you see him play offense.

I am very interested to see where he will play next year when we get more bigs. Personally I would prefer to see Wagner become the 2nd option at center as I think he has more of the mindset of a post player.

Uhl is definitely playing out of position, this season.

I havent watched more than a few minutes of bball this year but heard Woody had 3 fouls in first half against Dayton. Woody needs to get his feet moving and quit the body fouls

Dom Uhl does not work on his game. He is only in the gym when it is mandatory. He needs to grow up.

The only reserve who had a solid tournament was Baer, was a step back for the rest of the guys especially Uhl.

Was it a step back for the guys or a step up in competition? I think all of the guys would have looked good if we had played 3 games against teams with 200+ RPIs. But that wouldn't have helped us much in conference competition or to make the NCAA Tournament IMO.

Have you heard this from someone? Generally sophomore year slump can be attributed to this. Most of the time they get a wakeup call by the time they are a senior.

I have never thought Uhl is a Big 10 caliber player. When is the last time we had a freshman come in and make immediate impact, averaging big numbers? White? Gattens? Uhl was to be the next big deal, playing Freshman minutes. Not even close to White, Gattens, etc Hasn't done much except grow hair.

Who did we play, today?

Dom Uhl is going to be a very good player for the Hawks over the next few years. Quit expecting every recruit we get to come in and average 15 points a game by their Sophomore year. Uhl is gonna be a matchup nightmare for a lot of teams in the future

14 and 10 today. Relax people.

He was fantastic today. Best game of his young career, in my opinion. He seemed relaxed throughout and didn't force anything, but took advantage whenever the opportunity was there and showed a really nice offensive game.
