Does the music kill fan involvement?

Every third down same songs played at earth shattering volume, kills my vibe. Maybe it's my section 109 kinda right about where the sound is aimed. Maybe just let the fans scream and can the music. I can't count the how many 3rd down conversions there have been this year.

I am in section 109 also and I would rather they play the music only during timeouts for just a while and at the change of quarter timeouts, I would much rather hear the band all the times they play this music during the game. Even just the band's drum section doing their thing is better than a lot of this booming music.

The guy in charge of the music must have the same game instincts as Ferentz.

I know some of this snarkiness is lowest hanging fruit-type stuff, but after another debacle, which probably means Iowa has another losing record at home this year, I don't care.

Wasn't going for low hanging fruit.. just remember Harbaugh crying for a penalty back in 85 when i was a student because we were so loud, without the aid of a thousand jigawatt stereo system. I've heard the same songs for 10 years on third down, time to try something new or in this case something old, maybe?

I went to a football game at Vanderbilt and at Purdue, and the pumped in loud music is way too much.
Why have the marching bands, if they are only going to be used for halftime and scores?!

Yes, more marching band and way less sound system. This is a college game not the NFL, thank God.
