Does the MSU player that KO'ed Colin get a

I wouldn't be surprised if he does have to sit.

BTW, SportsCenter late edition is showing Iowa-MSU highlights now.

He should for the hit alone..then another for taunting after that hit. Yeah football is a violent sport....but that is uncalled for. That belongs on the streets, not in college football.

I'd wish that Coach D'Antonio would discipline the kid himself and say "that behavior is not how we want to represent the culture of our football program. Grow up."

It's football. I for one don't think it was malicious in its intent. He hit the guy hard, illegally I might also add. I do think the refs made the right call. I also have no problem with what he did afterward. He made the hit and then stared Colin down a little afterwards, like everyone ELSE does after big hits. He had no idea Colin was out cold.

Honestly. Colin looked to be in seizure mode when he was standing over him. You think he didn't know??? Sorry I'm not buying that...

Well sure it was obvious after the play. But the guy that made the hit isnt thinking about that. He hit him. Got up. Stared him down. Probably then saw he was out cold and walked away like he should have.

NO, he should not get up and stare at him at all. He should turn around and celebrate with his teammates. When AC sacked Cousins after smoking his blocker he turned and celebrated but did not stand over cousins at all. That is the definition of taunting.

Guess I don't have a problem with the stare down. Then again I was known to flap my gums when I played so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm sure if you asked the kid who made the hit he'd say he felt bad that Colin got hurt.
