There's one person who can fix this... Our AD has got to start investing in ways to get donors prime seats and get students on the floor. Raise student ticket prices slightly and if donors complain then they don't understand the "it" factor.

Bingo. Been saying this for years. Look at some of the schools and the crowd noise at arenas who put the kids in the first 8-12 rows. MSU, Duke, etc.. No comparison. Get the kids to the game ... invest in the future ... they are the future season ticket holders and donors.

This is what I emailed Barta 2 years ago. I totally agree with you, but based on his response at that time it's not happening. Which is really unfortunate because that's one easy fix that could make a huge difference to the environment. Plus it would encourage more students to go to the games if they know they are going to be able to get seats down low.

For those who don't like the parking stituation... you can park at Hanscher and take a shuttle to the game. I have a friend with a limo service and we go to one game a year (Michigan next Sunday this year) and that's where we park. Getting out is a breeze, too.
