Ok maybe a dumb question. JW cuz there entire roster is loaded with 4* players yet we can't get any because of our high standards??

No they use the same standard as all other colleges. 4.0=A, 3.0=B, 2.0=C, 1.0=D.

Notre Dame, like a lot of schools has the same standards for all students. Not all football players are students.

Notre Dame has been in trouble the last few years for academic fraud. I wouldn't put them too high on that pedestal.

Athletes are not the only ones who can coast through college with easy courses, obviously is you are paying its a waste of money but I knew plenty of guys at Iowa when I was there who were on their parent's dime and didn't care about it.

My last semester when I had my major wrapped up I took a bunch of ROTC classes (wasn't in ROTC, anyone can take the classes and they were full of football players) and basic creative writing courses.

Other than Virginia no one in the top 10 plays really good defense. Kentucky turns it on and off when they have to get after it that's when they lock people down.

I wasn't really aware that Iowa was much tougher to get into than most other schools, if at all.. Iowa != Harvard or some school like that, right?

I am taking your comment as a joke because you can't be serious. iowa is NOT hard to get into. You go to the admissions office, they check to see if you are breathing, if they can confirm breathing, they give you an "admitted" sticker to wear on your shirt. So thank you for making me laugh today.

Iowa's admissions standards are the same as those for UNI and ISU. All are set by the Board of Regents for the state.
