Does Iowa's passing scheme look familiar so far?

It should..the play action boots/waggles were a staple of Iowa football..before this year. Working and will keep LB's honest in run blitzing

Precisely! This is the offense we were told we'd see ... the "old" that matched the skill set of the players + the tweaks (JVB out of the gun) to maximize the skill set!!

It shouldn't look familiar, with CJ Beathard running the show (according to Fox sports)

Just saw the 4th boot of the 1st quarter...we definitely made some changes over the past week. I feel as though we might have run 4 bootlegs all year prior to this game...or so it seems.

They did it last week early as well. I posted that Iowa went back to the old playbook.. However we just didn't do enough of it and eventually stop doing it..

Seeing passes completed is almost too much for me at this point, I can't be bothered to notice what plays were called to make those completions happen.
