if Coker plays the whole game. Hind site is 20-20, but I say yes. KF benched ARob for a minor academic issue. What kind of a message would have been sent to ARob to watch Coker have a monster game helping Iowa beat OSU? Another poor coaching decision in a season filled with many!
 




The defense doesn't have to if Coker pounds it for the whole game.

OSU had no answer for the kid, and this staff took him out to give Arob his carries. It was obvious from the start that Arob had nothing today. Much like AZ earlier in the year, he seemed timid and had happy feet.

Coker ran people over, and had the speed for the next level.

I'm sure we'll get some lame @$$ excuse on tuesday as to why Coker didn't see a carry until the 4th....and yeah, his first carry in the 4th went for about 25 yards.
 




I hate that too. I'm fine early on in the game figuring out who's got the hot hand and then substitute when needed.

Arob has been worked to death this year, and maybe that's part of his problem right now. He's not 100%.

Coker was in for three series and Iowa got its two tds on both his series and should have scored a td on all three if Stanzi does not overhtrow the wr.

Iowa scored three with Arob in twice as many series. Should have been 6 but the missed fg.

KF and company playing NOT TO LOSE went with the safer guy instead of the true freshman who may have more talent but is a risk.
 


No because we would continue to watch Stanzi throw the ball into double coverage and miss wide open receivers up and down the field.
 


Coker for sure had the hot hand and was running with much more power and speed. For what ever reason A-Rob did not have it today just looked spent and could nothing going. Coker should have gotten more carriers for sure but you know our coaching staff don't do anything different.
 


I agree with playing Coker more. Robinson just didn't look very good. I am sure he is beat up. With that being said, our offensive coordinator probably wouldn't have gave him the ball anyway. Much like the Indiana game, give it to him 16 times for 100 yds in the 1st half and he only carries it 4 more times the rest of the way.
 




No doubt in my mind that we win the game with Coker. That is why I say this loss is on the coaches. It was an obvious choice to make but that is not how this staff conducts their business - they make their decisions ahead of time and stick with them whether the situation changes or not. On saturday the situation changed as Coker was obviously running much better than Robinson and the coaches failed to adjust to that situation.
