Yeah officials were great, once again Iowa shoots as many FT as the other teams makes, that is awesome officiating right there...

Because that is the end all definition of a game called fairly.

Honestly, I don't think it was THAT bad. The last time he went off like this was at UNI a couple years ago, and THAT crew was terrible; the officiating warranted a drastic response. But tonight's officiating didn't seem that much different than a typical conference game, certainly not enough so to warrant flying off the handle. Especially in a close game; at least the UNI game was already decided.

And that, right there, is the problem, and most likely why Fran was enraged. This crap was supposed to be cleaned up, according to the NCAA, but, obviously, it only went one way last night. JD was right - the new "rules" will not apply at the Breslin Center or the Kohl Center.

If he gets suspended it's likely for chasing the official to the other end of the court as much as for getting a forearm from the official. Sit him against NW if they want. It won't impact that game and might get the guys fired up for the real game this week on Sunday.
