My guess is he is done. Quits, retires for the last time. Two feet of snow in Minny, cold as hell, shoulder hurts, ankle hurts, Christmas season, out of the playoffs, posse is getting closer. He goes home, writes the beautiful Miss Sterger a big check and gets fat. Can't suspend him if he is retired.

I think he will consider coming back mid-season next year. The Vikings will give him his release so it won't be a headache, and about the time a contender has a QB go down a la Tom Brady in '08, they'll give Favre a call. I bet he thinks about it, and IDK what he will do.
