I don't think you should waste your time. I listened and all I heard was two grown men pathetically whine like babies and argue over complete nonsense. I thought both were completely unprofessional and immature.

I agree that Rob came off the handle and almost sunk to Matt's level (hell, maybe he did), but that kind of bashing of Perrault was over-due, it's ridiculous. Perrault has now completely alienated both Iowa and ISU fans. I think it's safe to say his time in DSM is dwindling.

yeah, but when is the last time you've heard a local radio personality cut off a local radio guest? both were perhaps out-of-line, but that is perrault's schtick. when is the last time you've heard anyone complain of howe's on-air antics? that's what i thought. i think it was a 'final nail in the coffin' thing for howe, which is understandable if you follow perrault on twitter or actually listen to the stuff he throws out there.

I got the impression that Howe went on there looking to create a mess and got one. If he had such a problem with Matt and doesn't like his tactics he shouldn't have agreed to do the interview. Both were big babies in my opinion. Howe flew off the handle and could have handled the situation in a more professional way.

I'll admit my mistake on that. I forgot about that one at the time. In all fairness, it was in a situation much different and less risky than Wisconsin was in against us. If Iowa failed, we still had a 3 point lead and GT had to go the length of the field to score. If we attempted a fg we would still lose if GT scores a td.
Ferentz has attempted some interesting plays late in games. The wr reverse pass attempt that killed the drive in the Alamo Bowl is one that comes to mind. Your point is taken though.

Howe was totally and 100% correct. Matt is the one that is trying to start something with "rumors" that are untrue. He starts naming players names and that is where he crossed the line and has lost a ton of respect. I mean the way he handled the situation is wrong. I'm sure he got a bit of a talking to at the station.
