I disagree. Indiana recently played Mich tough and other teams well. Minny finished sort of strong. maryland ran over some teams, beat texas (although texas is not as good as their ranking), and almost beat OSU.

Those are still hard teams to beat as resounding as the hawks did. N ILL is going to a bowl and played a tough non conf slate, we beat an above avg ISU team for them

Really can not argue that as well but you have to play who is in front of you. But Iowa did beat some teams pretty impressively compared to the other top teams in the league.

I’ll also dispute we could never be a playoff team. Heck, the seniors on this year’s team were just one play away from making the playoffs.

I know this is the time of year to kick rocks and this year’s team has a lot of disappointments that are fresh on the mind. What I’m taking from this season is if the program ever wants to have a great season, going 3-3 in division isn’t going to cut it. It’s time to not be intimidated by Wisconsin and to take Purdue and Northwestern seriously.
