It's not unprecedented...we started 2 freshmen at CB in 2002, and our D was dominant. That D line was awesome.

I trust Phil, just not sure we have the talent at the position. Love to be proven wrong. We'll know in week 2 , ISU will throw against 'em. Indiana in week 4 will show if they've grown. If not, could be a long season.

I remember seeing lil Eppy at the Hawkeye tailgate at the B1G title game in Indy a couple years ago... we were the few but might Hawk fans in attendance lol

I was blown away by how big young Eppy looked. He looked every bit of 6'5" and huge shoulders. Like a door frame. Surprised to see he's listed at 6'3" and 260lbs. I figured he was bigger than that 2 years ago

Interesting some of the you tube video's suggesting this could be one of the best defensive lines in Kirk's time as head coach. Didn't they say last season that this could be an area of concern or am I getting that confused with the secondary?
