No way. I'm sure he meant the weak and emotionally feeble KOK. The only emotion that Norm can display is PAIN and only opposing offenses see that emotion.
 
He only needs a muzzle put on him if he's talking trash about the program. Considering that he's actually been very public about being VERY supportive, I say let him talk. Some of you may not ever forgive him, but if he's willing to spread some positive stuff about the program, it can't hurt anything.
 
Do coaches usually tell players they love them? I'm pretty sure none of mine ever did. Damn. Have I missed out on something?

Did he embarrass the university and his team? Yes, without question. With that said he played as hard as he could on the field as far as I could tell, and the only game he ended up missing was the Missouri game which we won, so I can't be too upset with him. It's unfortunate for him that he made such poor decisions, but in the long run it doesn't hurt the team much, it's just embarrassing.
 
I remember that time period between the loss to Minny and DJK's arrest many people, including me, felt DJK was one of the few guys who 'showed up' for that game.

He's a young man who made a mistake. I'll be pulling for him in the NFL.

Unless he plans on pleading guilty, I'd keep a lid on it for now. Nothing incriminating with this one, but no good can come from random comments - he doesn't seem like he has much of a filter, so I'd just not say anything right now.
 
As Norm was the only coach staring his mortality in the face all year, I 'm not surprised that he threw out some love.

No, he needs to STFU because he is on trial for drug possesion, and needs to protect his own behind. He needs to stop talking about the program because he is no longer a part of the program, and his assosciation with the program is a black eye.
