DJK picks Iowa State, 35-17

He was pretty high on Iowa State in general, Steele in particular. Said he wasn't very impressed with Vandenberg's progression as a QB or the receivers in the opener.

Last time was in 2007 against Indiana. 20-38.


Oh and for the record Iowa's last game played in Kinnick was against MSU and we got beat by 16..

The last Greek man I knew who predicted games was Jimmy the Greek, and things didn't work out too well for him either.
 
For the record, the last time Iowa lost by 18 + points at home was a 38-20 loss to Indiana in 2007. The last an Iowa team that went on to play in a bowl game lost by 18+ points at home was to a 38-17 loss to #1 Ohio State in 2006. The last time an Iowa team that went on to play in a bowl lost to an unranked team by 18+ point at home was a 31-0 loss to Penn St in 1993 (PSU went on to a 10-2 record and a Citrus Bowl win over Tennessee).
 
Still trying to find the podcast.. I get linked to facebook (what a frickin' worthless thing) and not to the podcast. Really would like to listen to what DJK has to say.

I realize he is persona non gratis among Iowa people but the 2 times, the only 2 two times (over 4 years) I ever heard the man in an interview... he had some insightful and at times off the wall, yet deep observations. Can any one link me to the exact podcast?

btw I am really surprised DJK has been condemned and black balled by HN and followers. He smoked pot and admitted it, along with dabbling with some "harder" drugs that he was constantly tempted by. Totally exonarated from the drug house and pusher charges. Of course he was "suppossedly" out-spoken and did wear his ball cap on back wards along with sun glasses that forever dogged the man.

Any how I want to hear what the man said and not 2nd hand crap. Any one?

I'm not sure we would all need to comment on it, but if I heard Pierre Pierce predicting he was going to score I would definitely hide my daughter and hide my wife.
 
Aaron try going to the KRUI website and finding it from there. No clue why it would send you to Facebook. Wasn't a terrible podcast.
 
I just listened to it and I'm fine with his prediction. He's as pessimistic as many of us were after the NIU game and his analysis reflected that. He's supposed to be unbiased and I think its okay that he's not being a homer radio Jock.
